Fish Are Biting Just in Time for Spring Break!
We couldn't have asked for a better start to spring break. Weather improved this week enough for some really pleasant fishing conditions, and we have seen a good amount of catches.
Eagle Point Customers Nathan and Mike snagged several redfish and trout keepers at the wells using live shrimp under a popping cork.
Captains David Dillman, Juan Cruz, and Mark Leaseburge took a late morning fishing trip with bartenders and employees of Mount Gay Rum. They caught trout, redfish, and drum keepers and were wrapped up by close to noon for a lunch with our neighbors at Pier 6 Seafood & Oyster House.
Finally, our Eagle Point VIP boat slip and RV park customer, Joe Holecek and his son, Josh fished with Captain David Dillman and caught about a dozen trout. Of those, five were keepers.
