Labor Day Weekend at Eagle Point
Last weekend, scattered showers were in the forecast, but that didn't deter Eagle Point VIP Kai, and his wife, Carmen. They went fishing when the weather forecast wasn't perfect and had one of their best catches ever. I'm really proud of them, as they're becoming great anglers.
With today's technology, it's easy to pull up the radar and remain weather-aware. When you're fishing out of Eagle Point, since we're centrally located, you can fish close by and should be able to make your way back to the marina if the radar shows rain, relatively quickly. Always keep in mind, we welcome you back to our main building as a safe harbor during showers. Tie up your boat, come on in, use the restroom, and enjoy some "barber shop" style conversations with us until the rain passes. Another option right next to us is heading over by boat to our friends at Pier 6 for lunch where you know they'll have great food, drinks, and some games on.
Bait:
We have a good supply of live shrimp, dead shrimp, frozen mullet and frozen shad. If you're coming later in the weekend, as always, call for a bait supply update: 281-339-1131.
Hours:
Saturday and Sunday: 5:30am to 7pm
Monday: 5:30am to 6pm
We hope to see you this Labor Day Weekend.
