Rainy Day Fishing

If you're on our Facebook, you're no stranger to seeing photos of Captain Juan's wife Addie with a slew of fish, and especially recently with the rain.

Why is fishing after the rain so great? We asked Juan to share a few of his tips and here is what he had to say.

"Fish come to the surface more when it's raining, and fish are typically more active when pressure drops and conditions are cloudy, rather than sunny...Pressure has changed, and fish want to feed. You just need to be cautious of the weather radar and don't travel too far from where you've launched if you see or feel there may be pop-up storms. Plus, it's a lot more comfortable in the cooler weather."

Thanks, Captain Juan for the great advice!
